Terms and conditions

1. The operator

Trade Group Hungary Kft. (Trade Group Hungary Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság) operates Trade Rent.

2. Booking

A web booking is an order. The rental contract is issued at the desk after the fee arrives.

The car is held for the dates you pick. Overlaps are blocked.

Cancel by email or WhatsApp. Free until 24 hours before pick-up. Later, Trade Rent may keep one day’s rate.

3. Fees, handover, deposit

The daily rate includes 200 km/day, a national vignette and third-party insurance. No extra casco.

Airport pick-up is HUF 5,000; home delivery in Budapest is HUF 10,000 — added at booking.

Pay the rental fee and the deposit by card on site. Prepaid cards are fine: the amount is held for the rental.

Extra km, delay, fuel shortfall and child seat are charged from the list. Extra driver: HUF 3,000 / day.

4. Pick-up and use

Bring a Latin-script ID and a valid driving licence.

Only the named driver may drive. No racing, tuition, paid passenger transport or sub-hire.

Abroad with prior written consent: Austria, Slovakia, Czechia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Poland, Serbia. Germany and Italy on request. The Hungarian vignette is included; foreign vignettes, tolls and fines are yours.

Fuel: full-to-full. No smoking.

5. Damage, liability

No extra casco, so there is no excess. The renter must pay for any damage to the car.

After accident, theft or wildlife damage call the police and Trade Rent at once.

Fines, penalties and tolls are yours.

6. Return, law

Return the car on time, to the same place, in the same condition. Delay continues the daily rate.

Hungarian law applies. If versions differ, Hungarian prevails.
